McLean Ross hit Barcelona for European Utility Week 2016

Posted by: Lauren Cox 4 Oct 16  | Energy

It has been a busy year for the McLean Ross team having attended a whole host of international industry events, but the year is not over yet, so why break a habit of a lifetime?

This time, we are excited to be heading to the beautiful Catalonian city of Barcelona from 15th-17th November for European Utility Week.

With a focus to help the smart energy industry drive efficiencies in meeting sustainable development goals, European Utility Week will bring over 12,000 international visitors, 450 speakers and 600 exhibitors across the entire smart energy chain.

Here at McLean Ross, we’re always eager to find new ways to innovate, and so by attending this event we are hoping to develop our business within the utilities industry even further through knowledge transfer, innovation and doing what we do best; networking!

Situated in the newly redeveloped business district, Fira Gran Via will host this years’ European Utility Week following the success of the event in Vienna last year. As the premier business platform connecting the smart utility community, the location is certainly apt!

As experts in the field, we are constantly keeping an eye out for new industry trends, so we are really looking forward to three straight days’ worth of unrivalled content from key industry leaders, from Grid Optimisation to Renewables and Energy Storage to Analytics and IoT.

In addition to the flurry of visitors, there will also be a cross selection of leading global utilities and grid operators, including EDF energy, E.ON, Centrica, ENGIE and DONG energy, giving us the opportunity to build new relationships as well as maintaining existing ones.
