Catherine McLean – Managing Director and Founder

Catherine is the founder of McLean Ross; a leading energy and sustainability recruitment company with four core values;

Her professional history stretches globally across an array of sales and recruitment specific experience, giving her the wealth of knowledge and experience that allows her to deliver an exceptional level of personal service.

Upon graduating, Catherine grew her sales expertise as a Business Development Manager in Washington, D.C. and after just under five years in this role, Catherine got her first taste of recruitment working as a consultant in London, eventually leading to her relocation to Dubai.

After finding her own working in sustainability, Catherine noticed a gap in the market and decided to set up McLean Ross in 2011 as a boutique recruitment consultancy with an aim to focus of a wide range of roles in the energy and sustainability industry.

In 2014, McLean Ross joined the Opus Professional Services Group; having already reached early success, Catherine had a desire to grow her business model and develop her industry knowledge further. The association and guidance from CEO, Darren Ryemill has helped propel the brand to greater success and has shown no signs of slowing down.

Catherine’s passion about both her client’s needs and those of her candidates means that she continually goes out of her way to ensure that these needs are not only met, but surpassed, and it is this standard of service that sets McLean Ross’ reputation as a leader in the field.
